Consistent, reliable CE

This is my third time using Skyline for my continuing education. I got the 45-Hour Post-License Package this round, and like before, the quality was consistent. I appreciate that their courses are always approved for Illinois and they report credits promptly. It's just easy to get what I need done here without any fuss, which is why I keep coming back. No surprises, which is what I want for CE.

Fantastic learning experience!

I just finished the Illinois Real Estate Broker Pre-License Course and I'm so happy with how everything went! The instructors for the live webinar were super engaging and made complex topics easy to understand. I loved the interactive Q&A sessions. I feel much more confident about taking the state exam now. Seriously, if you're looking to get your license, Skyline is the way to go!

Good value, minor tech issue

I purchased the 75-Hour Pre-License Package last month. The course content itself was solid and pretty comprehensive for the price. I thought it prepared me well for the state exam. The online platform was mostly easy to navigate, but I did have one small issue with a video not loading correctly on my mobile device one evening. It cleared up the next day, but it was a bit frustrating at the time. Overall, a good experience and definitely worth it for getting started.

Decent price for renewal

I needed to renew my license and found a good deal on their Real Estate Continuing Education courses. The pricing was better than some other schools I checked. Content was straightforward and fulfilled my requirements. Took about a week to complete everything at my own pace.

what's their refund policy like? just in case I start the course and realize it's not for me within a week or two?

R Rachel Osei 1 month ago
I actually had to cancel my first registration (personal reasons). I think if you haven't accessed too much of the material, they'll give you a refund, maybe with a small fee. Best to check their site specifics.

Yeah, pretty standard. If you jump in and decide it's not for you quickly, you're usually good. Just don't wait too long or complete a ton of modules.

Does Skyline School ever have sales? Or like, coupon codes for the pre-license stuff? Trying to save a few bucks if I can.

C Carly 2 months ago
They totally do! I got my pre-license package for like $40 off during a 'spring sale' or something. Keep an eye out around seasonal peaks like June or December.

Yeah, check around Black Friday too. I think they had some deals then, or like a military discount if that applies to you.

How long do you typically get to finish the self-paced courses? I'm worried about signing up and then not having enough time with my work schedule.

P Phil 3 months ago
I think it's usually 6 months or a year, depends on the course. They give you a good chunk of time though.

Pretty sure it's 6 months for most, but if you need an extension you can probably ask. It's not super strict afaik.

Hey guys, thinking about doing my real estate pre-license course through Skyline. Are they legit? Like, will the IDFPR actually recognize their certs?

S Sam A. 2 months ago
Yeah, totally legit. They're an approved provider in IL, so your hours will count.

Can confirm, I did my broker post-license with them last year and everything went through fine with the state.

Anyone know how Skyline compares to Real Estate Express or Kaplan? Debating between them for the 75-hour pre-license package.

D Derek W. 2 months ago
I went with Skyline because they felt more focused on Illinois specifically. Real Estate Express seemed a bit more generic for all states. Content was solid.

Kaplan is good too, but I found Skyline's live webinars were easier to fit into my schedule and the instructors were really engaging. Price-wise, I think they were pretty competitive too.
